- This is a non-diagnostic reassurance scan and does not replace NHS scans.
- Scan does not check for abnormalities or medical conditions.
- Suitable gestational age to be confirmed at booking.
- 4D scans are dependent on the baby’s position at the time of the appointment, which is entirely outside of our control. Image quality cannot be guaranteed, as factors such as foetal position, movement, placenta placement, and amniotic fluid levels may affect visibility.
- The optimal timeframe for 4D imaging is typically between 24–28 weeks of pregnancy. Scans performed outside of this window, particularly later in pregnancy, may have a higher likelihood of limited or obscured images due to reduced space within the womb.
- If image quality is significantly limited due to foetal positioning, a repeat scan may be offered at the discretion of the clinic. Any repeat scans are subject to availability and may incur a reduced fee.
- Please note that dissatisfaction due to foetal position or image clarity does not constitute a failed service, as this is a known limitation of ultrasound imaging. Refunds are not provided on this basis.
- Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or changes within 24 hours may result in loss of the appointment.
- Late arrival may result in reduced scan time or forfeiture of appointment.
