What is there to do in Athens?
Have your walking shoes handy – Athens is buzzing with activity and is waiting to be explored! The Acropolis and Parthenon are an absolute must – rich in history, the centuries old monument stands tall overlooking the city. Even for those who are not historically inclined, the Acropolis climb is worth it for those breathtaking panoramic views! There are dozens of tours available for those wanting to dig deeper into Athens’ rich history.
If the climb seems a little daunting, no worries! Athens is packed with monuments and attractions on the ground. Explore the Panathenaic Stadium, the birthplace of the Olympics or catch a live performance at the ancient theatre of Herod Atticus Odeon for unique acoustics and city views.
A little further out of the city and one of our favourite spots is Lake Vouliagemi. A tranquil, thermal mineral water lake is the perfect spot for swimming. A hidden gem, it's overlooked by mountains and sprawling Greek landscapes, bathe in its waters or relax on the deck where food and beverages are served!

What is there to do in Crete?
You’ll be sunnying it up in Malia, not far from the city of Heraklion. Enjoy the views of the Bay of Malia from one of the many beaches at your feet from Malia Beach to Potamos Beach to Paralia Stalidas. Stroll through the old town perhaps dining in Petrino Garden or maybe beachside at Pleasure Beach Club Restaurant.
Dare yourself with Crete’s plethora of water sports activities from water from scuba diving to parasailing, from canoeing to water skiing – experience an alternative view of Crete from its waters.
If you want to stretch your legs after all that difficult and strenuous relaxing(!) why not hike the White Mountains Forest preserve? Experience panoramic island views every step of the way and explore the rocky but beautiful heart of the island.

(Ederlezi Boutique Hotel) Lovely! Lovely! The room was so tasteful, extremly soundproof too. And, location is the very best. Lovely places to eat everywhere close by. Monastiraki Metro two blocks away, a short walk to Plaka and so on.

(Enorme Ammos Beach Holiday) 100% from all Just returned from 2 weeks with my husband borh in our 70s my husband has difficulty walking and must say the staff went over and above to help when needed. The rooms and pool area are spotless the food very good with plenty of choice the staff friendly especially if you make the effort to speak with them then to top of a splendid holiday I was presented with a surprise birthday cake by the reception and manager will definitely health permitting be making a return visit
