Getting to the Island – The Ferry

The Lusty Beg Island ferry operates on-demand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, crossing Lower Lough Erne from the mainland pier near Kesh, County Fermanagh. The short 3-minute crossing is completely complimentary for all visitors.

To summon the ferry, simply push the button on the call-box at the pier, or call '0' from the mainland car park phone to notify island staff
Foot passengers can simply walk on – no advance booking required
Staying guests can drive their cars onto the ferry – space is limited to two cars at a time (max 4 tonnes)
During busy check-in and check-out times, guests are advised to use the free, CCTV-monitored mainland car park to avoid queuing
Dogs are highly welcome aboard the ferry and on the island
