Hotel is in a fantastic location. Short walk to town good range of restaurants bars and shops. I upgraded to river view which was nice but felt £25 per a night was excessive. Room was clean bed was comfortable. But hotel is undergoing refurbishment. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was great plenty to chose from . Overall good break will go again when completed

We had a lovely welcome, the guy in reception was very friendly and helpful.
He gave us some great information about the town told us what restaurants were there and what they served. Room was lovely everything you needed, nice size and comfortable.
Its in the middle of refurbishment so some areas were not that great but all in all its on its way to being a truly lovely calming hotel. The views from the dining room were just captivating seeing the wildlife enfold before our eyes magical. We would definately go back such a nice area to visit.

Had an amazing stay the only reason it didn’t get five stars was that the Riverside Hotel didn’t serve food and they didn’t provide glasses for the Prosecco. All in all a beautiful location with wonderful shops, Cafes and restaurants.Would definitely stay again!

The bedroom was very clean and staff nice.l couldn't have a bath because the bathroom light kept going off ( on a sencer) . Lovely setting next to the river and near shops. The breakfast was nice but cold.

The hotel is in a lovely spot by the river and just across the bridge to the town. Our room was ok and clean beds well worn but not uncomfortable. BUT the hotel is in desperate need of a facelift and our initial thoughts when we entered reception was goodness what have we come to. From the outside it looks closed as someone walking near us commented. I know they are refurbishing some of it so let's hope it gets up to date after being a migrant hotel (mentioned by a shop keeper in town).
Amazingly they have car charging ports but no proper disabled bays.

The location is quite stunning, right on the riverside. Unfortunately the hotel, although adequate, needs a lot of investment to fulfill it's potential. The rooms were fine and the breakfast was very good. St Ives is very close and has some lovely restaurants. I'd particularly recommend Italian restaurant Amour.
