Discover Looe Island and all its wonders, now protected and managed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust or steep yourself in its history and admire the views of a 12th-century Benedictine chapel. It sure beats the concrete jungle any day! If you’re looking to do something a little different you can hang out with the monkeys at the local sanctuary. West Kellow Yurts - Highly recommended A beautiful location in the cosiest accommodation (Skylark Yurt) considering the changeable weather! The location is walking distance to Polperro (my favourite little fishing village - unbelievably picturesque and quaint) and a 5-10 min drive to Looe was perfect for us.

Authentic camping in beautiful surrounds I stayed at West Kellow Yurts with my wife for two nights in one of the yurts. We were pleased to find everything we needed in the communal kitchen and the bathrooms were clean and functional. We enjoyed the tranquility of the setting with a lovely view out to sea and awakening to bird song. We walked down to Polperro for a cosy meal in the Three Pilchards pub but opted for a taxi for the return leg after enjoying some Cornish cider! We felt the campsite was good value for money with lots to do on its doorstep.

Peace and quiet at West Kellow - Beautiful setting, so peaceful. Communal areas were well equipped, Buzzard yurt was spacious and in a secluded area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
