Great hotel, clean rooms and helpful friendly staff. Room was small but very functional and well laid out and suited a short stay in London.
This was our second stay at the hotel within a month, rooms clean and comfortable, staff helpful and pleasant, breakfast was lush Throughly recommend to family or friends .
Very enjoyable stay with no hick ups & well located with Lancaster Gate tube only round the corner DO NOT make same mistake as us walked long way as had to come green park as Hyde park was closed .
Second time we have stayed , such a good location station so close Hyde Park just outside the door. Staff are lovely put in a request for an upgrade and gluten free foid it was no trouble . Hotel its self is a little tired rooms on deal can be bit small bathrooms tiny set menu is limited but plenty bottle of wine to be expected not the highest qualitu but very drinkable . Breakfast is plentiful and was hot. Would definitely return next time need to be in London.
Great value, ok hotel with small room, very well located and really good breakfast
Excellent value for money which included a complimentary bottle of wine, breakfast and late check out. The location was perfect for sight seeing and travelling around. Also offered an option to upgrade from a standard room. Would definitely stay again.
Great hotel close to tube station able to leave bags before 3pm Room a bit dated but had everything in it. Late check out a free bottle all for £99
good breakfast .good service
Corus receptionist were great. Room a it small but comfortable Breakfast was excellent. Wine was great 2nd time at the Corus, I will return again.
We didn’t think it was 4star. We upgraded the room and bought Champagne. We were given the Champagne at the bar and we had to take it back to the room along with the suitcase and bags We asked for extra pillows when we went for dinner and we were given them at reception and took them into the restaurant!!
Very helpful and friendly staff at hotel. Room basic but comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast. Good value for money
Staff friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed for a one night stay. Great location.
It was a nice place to be. Close to the most of the fun places. The breakfast was ohk with nice hospitality.
Clean hotel, good service and good selection of foods at the buffet breakfast. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Ideal if you just need somewhere clean to rest your head for a few days. Lovely location opposite Hyde Park.
The hotel is a great location, opposite Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and a short walk from Lancaster Gate tube. The room was clean, a little small and the bathroom was very small but fine for my overnight stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and would stay again.
We booked 2 nights B&B with wine both nights, through Wowcher. I have to be honest, I wasnt expecting great things as I've had other Wowcher deals that haven't exactly been what was booked/ paid for so I was a bit sceptical, but needn't have been! The hotel room had a huge bed which was great as my hubby is tall. This was something we'd requested prior to check in so it was nice it was fufilled. The room & bathroom were a wee bit small but probably about the norm for London. We had air con which was great especially with the weather getting warmer. The wine was nice and the bar staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold items. The only thing we weren't so keen on were the scambled eggs, they tasted a bit strange, but everything else was great! Fried/ poached eggs might be a nice option! The only other negative thing (if you'd call it negative) was the smell at the lifts on the 5th floor, it was like a horrible spilt milk smell but we only noticed it when using the lift. The hotel is in a great location for the Tube & Hyde Park is just a few mins walk away so everything was very accessible from there. I'm sure we'll be back to London again and would stay here again!
Nice hotel, good breakfast and wine. Room a disappoint as rather small. Ok for 1 night only.
A lovely stay
Great value, comfy room, super location
Great hotel in excellent location Excellently situated in Paddington, very close to Hyde Park/Kensignton Gardens, two min walk to Lancaster Gate station (on the Central line) and about 10 mins from Paddington station.
Holiday I stayed 3 nights and I was positive surprised about the hotel.
Super Service at Corus Hotel The staff were so friendly and helpful - went beyond the call of duty to help me sort issues I had with my laptop
The room is nothing like the pictures. It is tiny, can’t walk around the bed, not the cleanest and paint chipping off skirting boards, the “view” definitely not of Hyde park was blocked anyway by a huge concrete block which stopped light getting in so the room was extremely dark. I complained to the hotel and they caused me a £50 charge to change rooms and said they don’t discount rooms ever and pulled out some legislation then were embarrassed when they realised I’d had a discount from wowcher booking!
Food options poor on dinner menu which was a different reduced menu to the other dinersI paid for a room upgrade and the carpet was dirty, worn and the shower was cool water only. Very disappointing…. Check in staff very helpful and nice. Great location.
The room very small..Dated though clean. The Upgrade for Meal and Wine complete waste of money ...Very Poor food ...greasy spoon standard Wine No choice just House wine Rose or White Think you were sitting in a works canteen Usual Exceptional High Alchol soft Drink Price
Really not worth the money we paid at all, it’s definitely cheap price for London but the room we had was not the room we paid for. We also upgraded our room and wasn’t given the correct room. Shower was to small couldn’t even stand up straight in it and didn’t come out quick enough at all. Walls were dirty and had stains on them. And to top it off the whole building had a power cut so we were without electricity for some of our stay! Breakfast was lovely couldn’t fault it and all you can eat and lots of choice, it’s in a good location and not far from places to explore. Unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone!
First impressions of the hotel were good and a very warm welcome from Dante on reception when we arrived. Was given a free room upgrade upon check in, which was a nice gesture as not expected. However, glad we were. The room and furnishings were tired and the windows didn't close completely due to a faulty latch, meaning you could hear the traffic all night. However, given the price paid to stay right opposite Hyde park and near a underground station felt it was a good deal and would stay again, just not in the same room.
The hotel foyer and facilities were great, but the room was very disappointing- very cramped, with one side of the bed against the wall which made it very difficult to get in and out.
They charge me more and also the room was dirty and we get food poisoned
A lovely hotel in a great central position. Helpful and professional staff, good breakfast, lovely wine. However,we were dismayed that our double room, which was otherwise good, clean, etc, had the double bed against a wall which meant an uncomfortable night. As we are both in our eighties and need to get out during the night, it was not very satisfactory.
Worst hotel ever they just walk in your room when they like
Tinny room. Great hotel and good breakfast but the room was a box
All I can say is … RUN … run a mile . This was the aorst hotel in terms of cleanliness . So bad , that we couldn’t even stay and had to leave . Do not waste your money .
Awful place! DO NOT book!! Hotel is nothing like the pictures! Very smelly, filthy and out dated.
