Liverpool Christmas Market
Liverpool's wonderful Christmas market is a great place to get started on your Christmas shopping! Join in on the festive celebrations the city has to offer. You'll find the market in the new location of St Johns Gardens, William Brown Street and the North entrance of George's Hall this year, and we've got plenty of reasons why you should visit! There are stalls selling a wide range of items including Christmas gifts, personalised decorations, arts and crafts, photo gifts, jewellery and lots of stocking fillers, so whoever you're buying for, you're sure to find them something great here. Whilst you're there it would be rude not to make the most of the delicious treats on offer including Yorkshire pudding wraps, sausages, burgers and yummy vegetarian and vegan alternatives! If you fancy staying in Liverpool a little longer, then check out our Liverpool Christmas market break!
Liverpool's Bluecoat
The 300 year old building of Bluecoat is a must if you're heading off to do some Christmas shopping! It's positioned right in the heart of Liverpool city centre, and provides fantastic shopping and entertainment opportunities all year long, but really comes into its own at Christmas. Here you'll find independent jewellers, handmade accessories, and beautiful boutique clothing, so whoever you're looking to impress this festive season, you'll find the perfect gift right here! This is definitely the place for unique gifts as you'll find one-off prints and jewellery for that special someone. There's also a beautiful garden you can take a nice stroll in or stop for a festive bite to eat! You can even pick up gorgeous hand-tied bouquets here, so whether you want to treat yourself or a friend this Christmas, you'll be spoiled for choice.
Royal Albert Dock
Right along Liverpool's waterfront is where you'll find the iconic Royal Albert Dock, and not only is it a beautiful sight to see, but also provides you with a great shopping experience! Expect trendy stores, independent fashion boutiques and a great range of souvenir shops, so whoever you're looking to buy a gift for this year, we're sure you'll find them something here. You'll even find art gifts and books in The Tate Liverpool, and we'd also recommend paying Harbour Accessories, Nature's Treasure, Lost Soles and The Nest a visit too! We know shopping can be tiring and luckily for you, there are plenty of places to rest and refuel including Madre, Gusto, The Smugglers Cove and Miller & Carter, before you head back round the shops again.
Liverpool ONE
We can't think of a better place to get that Christmas shopping finished than Liverpool ONE! Also known as the UK's largest open air shopping centre, they have something to suit all tastes and budgets with a mix of well known high street names and higher end brands. Located right in the heart of the city centre, you'll also easily be able to shop at all the other places we've mentioned in this guide! With over 150 shops including Bershka, Arket, Ted Baker, Ernest Jones and John Lewis, to name a few, you're sure to come out with everything ticked off your shopping list. Don't forget to take a break in one of the food outlets including Bar Burrito, Browns, Cosy Club, Las Iguanas and Turtle Bay! The centre also usually puts on lots of different Christmas events, and this year is no different. There's karaoke, hot chocolate, pictures with Santa, wreath making, festive parties and bars, so make sure you don't miss this one!
Red Brick Market
Think Camden market, but in Liverpool, and you've got Red Brick Market! Here, you'll find independent makers, bakers and other street vendors selling you a wide range of items. This is a Christmas shopping experience like no other, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to select some amazing gifts here from antiques, furniture, clothing, vintage items and even a cake or two!
