This modular wooden compost system is perfect for creating your own homemade compost. Green waste disposal can be a problem for keen gardeners, so it is well worth investing in these sturdy woody bins to create your own nutrient-rich compost! Manufactured from managed forests, the Wooden Compost Bin base unit consists of 4 posts and 20 panels. The system creates a 4 sided bin with a 573 litre capacity that simply slots together with no need for nails or screws. The slats can be adjusted to allow good aeration which is vital for creating a good compost.

Green waste disposal

As green waste decomposes, it should be turned to improve aeration. Installing a second Compost Module will make this process easier, allowing compost to be turned from the base unit straight into the module. Compost modules consist of 2 posts and 15 panels which are designed to sit attach to the original base unit or another module unit. In time, you can add as many modules as you need to create a simple yet effective system.
